it all began with a disposable camera.
I took interest in the magic of photography at the age of 8, when my mother bought her first point-and-shoot camera, after years of solely using film. It was instant love and awe, as I couldn’t believe my eyes when I realized this heavy block of a camera had a digital screen on the back. In complete awe, I begged my parents for one. But as with other hobbies I picked up and dropped quickly, my mother wanted to make sure I was serious about it before the investment. I vividly remember the trip to the grocery store to buy a disposable camera. Many… and I mean many photos were taken of my dog, Baby, as my first model. Along with flowers, friends, and random ugly objects in the yard. My parents quickly realized this was a real passion. we can all see where this goes…
